My secong attemp at a Custom Box 32x15x15 Tuned to 32Hz

Setting up the sheet and the ruler

Making the Cut marks using a large ruler and a pen

Done Making all Cut marks now to cut using a circular saw

I ussualy cut an inch or two outside the line so i can later finish it using

A table saw. You get real good cuts when you use a table saw not like a circular saw unless you are reall good at using it not like me.

All cuts redone and perfect for assembly.

Another shot of the cuts.

Pre assembly to make sure everything fits right.

A front shot of the Box without the Sub hole cutout.

A shot of the port.

A shot of the bracing.

Starting to assemble everything, the sides first.

A shot of the 2 inch Taper.

A shot of the taper and the port constructed.

A shot of a local audio shop. Went to the shop looking for some box terminals, they didnt have some. Ended up going to three shops and the third one had some but only one and it was round, my last chance was Radio Shack and they did have some but square, ended up buying it.

A front shot of the box with the cut out template provided by Orion, and a small hole that will provide a start for the jigsaw.

Starting to round the port using a sander, not the best method but does the job right.

A pic of the port rounded and glued to the box.

Another shot of the port and a look at the box without its bracing.

A front shot of the box with the sub hole cut out.

Another view of the hole cutout and a view of the port.

A look at the bracing, not fancy but this will prevent the box from exploding due to high preasure.

Another look at the bracing.

A look at the first terminal installed.

Front shot of the box with the top screwed and glued on.

Sealing up everything that was left unsealled due to the top off.

A look at the two terminals installed. The second one is a little messy due two the problem that i could'nt find any terminals and had to buy a square one. The square terminal from Radio Shack ended up breaking when i was soldering the speaker wire and ended up leaving a square hole in the back of the box. Ended up going to a flea market and found some terminals but round, tried to find a square terminal since i allready had a square hole in the box but had no luck, bought a round one. Then i had to really seal the square since the terminal was round, hopefully this doesnt cause any leaks in the future.

An inside look at the two terminals installed, notice the square hole that was previously cut.

Front look at the box with the speaker wire ready to be connected to the sub.

A look at the entire box with the speaker wire inside.

Connecting the speaker wire to the sub so it can be boltet down.

A look at the sub connected and set in the hole, not bolted down yet.

Turned out the hole cutout was a little to small and the sub didnt go all the way down.

A look at the box installed in my trunk.
