Hi everybody!
My CarAudio project is getting to its end. At the moment I am competing in the Spanish IASCA Championship with pretty good results, even if I still have to fix some problems and improvements before the Finals I hope I will reach.

In addition to the sound system I made some "tuning" mods:
-BBS RC 18" rims
-Falken 225-40-18 wheels
-FK suspensions
-Upsolute chiptuning, up to 192/196Hp

The heart of my project is the Pioneer DEX-P9R Head Unit and the Pioneer DEQ-P9R Processor. In addition to a great sound quality it gives great sound processing, EQ and crossover.
I was looking for Natural Quality Sound, so I choosed DLS speakers, sub and amplifiers.
DLS is a Swedish brand, which is considered one of the best Car Audio Manufacturers, very close to home Hi-End Systems. Take a look at their web page at www.dls.se or at the american site www.dls-america.com

This is my system:

-Pioneer DEX-P9R Head Unit.
24Bit DAC, Copper Plated Chassis, OEL Display...

-Pioneer DEQ-P9R Pre Amp-Processor
24Bit DAC, Independent 8 way Time Aligment, 31+31 Band Equalizer, 8 Way Fully Adjustable Active Crossover, Copper Plated Chassis.

-DLS Ultimate Iridium 6.3
Three way front speakers. Real Hi-End competition system for a perfect front stage. Non pressed paper cones for natural bass reproduction, tweeters and mid-range drivers with chamber that improves the reproduction in the lower range. The speakers are using voice coils of flat aluminium wire for maxium density.
Iridium 6, 6,5" woofer, three inch voice coil, cone made of non-pressed paper, hybrid magnet system with neodymium and ferrite magnets in an unique combination; Iridium 3, 3" silk dome mid-range speakers, with neodymium magnet and chamber; UR1, 28 mm silk dome tweeter med neodymium magnet and rear chamber.

-DLS UR12 Subwoofer.
12" subwoofer with die cast basket Magnesium cone body. Dual spiders and dual magnet system. Dual 4 ohm voice coils.

-DLS Ultimate A3 Power Amplifiers.

I use four of theese, to power independently each speaker and sub's coil, always 4Ohm charged to improve THD parameters, giving complete and independent control of each speaker as well as independent power supply.

Every inch of cable or wire is protected with "snake skin" and gold plated connectors, cable reductors, and silicon or rubber protection. Silver shielded RCAs wiring.

Power wires of 50mm and 20mm sections, reinforced ground and power supply direct from main battery to the alternator. Color code termal tubing.
Different sized speaker wire, 2.5mm for mids and tweetes, and 4mm for woofers and sub.

Power supply is given by two Optima Blue Top Batteries, they give power enough for the whole system and total integrity,due to the strong building, ready to afford the most extreme conditions. A 1.2 Farad Power Capacitor gives current stability and eliminates electronic noise. Electronic fuse holders, show voltage in every point of the circuit.

A control panel is going tu be integrated in the free din on the dashboard. It shows temperature of four different areas of the trunk, and gives control of four fans
